What is the real speed limit?

Hey guys! I’m visiting Houston and rented a car but when going through the highway I feel like the obnoxious slow driver. Every seems angry that I’m not going over the speed limit. Should just try to mimic everybody’s speed? Stick to the speed limit? Or is there an unspoken rule I’m unaware? Thanks!
