What is the obsession with Saquon?

I understand an upgrade at RB is something the offense could benefit from, but why is this sub infatuated with a guy who will be overpaid and likely to miss significant time with random injuries? We’re in such a good cap situation and over extending for players who have major injury concerns is exactly the type of move that would shrink our window while CJ is still on his rookie deal. Even someone like Evans at WR is not something I’m interested in at $25m/yr. Nico and Tank were great and the draft is stacked with WR talent. Let’s go after another DE/LB/OL/Safety with that money and get depth. Also, Singletary was highly underrated and deserves another shot with this team at the right price.
