 What is “Houston’s Great Eats” all about?

This brand was created to laser focus on the great restaurants in and around the Houston, Tx area. We cover restaurants from many diverse backgrounds – we like to think the restaurants we cover are as diverse as the City of Houston. We also include cafes, bars, upscale restaurants, holes in the wall, and food trucks. 

Why we reached out

If we have reached out to you, it’s because either we have eaten at your restaurant before (and love it) or someone we know told us about your business. We also search through Google, Facebook, Yelp and Houston City Beat’s own directory to identify restaurants that have great reviews.

Our ask of you

We want to feature your place of restaurant in Houston City Beat (and it’s no charge to you – yes, that’s right ZERO cost to you) within Houston’s Great Eats. We have many examples to share with you of what we have done for other businesses – like London Cafe, Dog Haus Biergarten, or The Kitchen Wheel.

I invite you to look through the Houston Restaurants under “Houston’s Great Eats” and you will see all the Eats Features we have done. Our goal is to complete four of these Eats Features per month. 

What’s an eats feature?

An Eats Feature is a three-part process. The first part is a blog write up about your restaurant, the history, the location, the menu, etc. Within the blog are two components – The Behind the Scenes Tour and the Eats Feature Video. The Behind the Scenes Tour is where we take our handheld and go with you to the back of the kitchen as you or your chef (or cook) show us how two of your most popular dishes are put together. The Eats Feature is completely optional and is more dependent on the time availability and the amount of people at the restaurant. What we are Looking For

All we ask is that you allow us the ability to come out to your restaurant, capture videos/pictures which we then share on the Houston City Beat platform and the social media accounts on Facebook, Youtube, Instagram and LinkedIn.
