What is a good higher end restaurant to sit at the bar for lunch on a weekend?

Hi there, I'll be visiting Houston from Austin for 24 hours this weekend. My husband and I are going to visit some museum Saturday afternoon, but I was looking for a recommendation for a fancier restaurant to eat lunch at on Saturday. Our biggest request is a place to sit at the bar with friendly bartenders and a lively crowd, but not overly crowded that it is impossible to get in. It is his birthday is this weekend so no real budget, but nice vibes would be great. We will happily eat any type of cuisine, as long as it is tasty. Thank you!
