What has been your experience selling or buying a used car in the Houston area lately?

Ok, I'll admit it. I'm trying to cash in on the high prices for used cars. I'm selling an SUV with >120k miles on it. Using a place on the south side.

Are used cars still going for stupid money? I see Carmax selling something really close to my car for a couple thousand more than I'm asking – but when I get a value from them, it's about half of what they're selling the same car for.

Just curious if anyone has been in the market lately. Not sure what to expect.
