What happened to whataburger? Size and quality just took a crazy dive

The wife and I went to whataburger and got the usual number 2. The price has been crazy high for some time, but it was still the best double burger out of the fast food places. So we get it today and first, the burgers were noticeably smaller and went we bit into it the quality of the meat and the veggies was not good; tiny frail and limp tomatoes that looked shriveled up. It was not good. Has anyone else noticed this? At 12 bucks for the number 2 it's crazy expensive , but the burger was really good.
