What happened to the Taco Bells and KFCs inside the loop?

There used to be Taco Bells and KFCs on Taylor St and Shepard St inside the loop, but they seemed to have disappeared. Does anyone know what happened to them? And what the taco bell at 2093 Taylor St is being replaced with?
