What happened to the "don’t panic" mentality?

I remember a lot of people on this sub saying "we might start 0-2 this season as the new OC and offense figure out how to work together, but we should be 2-2 after week 4"

I feel like there was an understanding that it might take some time for this offense to come together. We've played 2 of the best teams in the league so far, and we've had really close games with them. The Jags and Tits back to back are a great opportunity for the team to get right heading into the Ravens and a tough run of games from weeks 5-9.

Is it not expected that sometimes it takes a bit of time for a new OC and OL to start to hit a groove? I thought this was all well within expectations.

Our offense has looked bad, of course it has, but our defense made the Rams and Bucs offenses also look… Almost just as bad? I don't know why people aren't saying "well, Stafford didn't look all that great against Houston," or "Baker's numbers werent super great against Houston."

Our defense is good, we know this, but Tampa and LA also have great defenses, if our defense can make their offense look bad, it tracks that their defense can make our offense look bad. But I guess this is reddit where everyone can overreact to everything all the time.
