What does NYC, LA, Chicago have that Houston doesn’t?

I’ve always heard that NYC, Chicago, LA are better, more lively cities, especially for younger folks; compared to Houston – why is that? What do these cities have that we don’t?

I mean … we have parks, museums, etc. What exactly do these cities do different?
