what areas in houston should I consider?

So I am a remote software engineer. Make about 80k starting a new career.

No car right now but that may change soon.

looking to source to intel on areas in houston that would be a nice place to live. I will visit for a few weeks and will probably bounce around these areas so throw out suggestions I'll validate when i'm in town.

want a safe area, but would like to have a good safe time during weekends.

Clubs, dating etc.

would like to save money to invest in stocks, and crypto, buy a house etc.

also thinking about Dallas but houston seems to be cheaper rn.

I live in a HCOL state with nothing to do so hopefully houston would be a change of pace.
