What are some outdoor/ Covid-friendly NYE events to check out with my mom?

I’m moving to Houston for at least 6 months to stay with my parents because my mental health has been declining over the last two years.

The one friend I still have there already has plans and I don’t want to ring in the new year sitting at home and would like to take my mom out as well.

Any ideas on what’s going down or what to check out? Preferably outdoors or with Covid precautions.
