What a bizarre situation.

I got all the respect in the world for Watson as a football player. I watched him beat my favorite team in a natty in one of the craziest games I’ve seen. Always rooted for his success in the pros.

Obviously all this stuff lately is crazy. Time will tell how things play out, and if he’s guilty then let due process proceed. I always thought we go way into athletes personal lives, and automatically think pro athletes should be everyone’s role model.

Regardless of all that, how true is any of this and what are the possible repercussions??

I also have a sort of a philosophical question, if a person takes “hush money” and then tells everyone about the act the money was for… then is it still punishable?

I am genuinely curious about all this.. any comments or facts to share?
