Westchase District Going Downhill?

I have worked in the Westchase District for 5 years now, and in general have always thought it was a great place to work. I have recommended it as a place to live for people who work in the area. Its been going downhill. I work near the intersection of Beltway 8 and Richmond, and often travel around the district for lunch and dinners on occasion. Over the past year the Chevron station at the intersection hosts increasing numbers homeless persons, and lately they have become increasingly aggressive, making going into the restaurants that share the parking lot with them increasingly dangerous. Prostitutes are now active in the day time in the area. Its sad to see the change. Westchase has its own security apparatus, and did for a while make significant reductions in crime, but it appears at least in this little area, its not working.
