West University Place Votes to Limit Leaf Blower Noise to 70db

On July 20, West University Place city council approved (4-1 vote) limiting leaf blower used in city limits to those with a manufacturer's specified 70 dBA (at 50 feet – industry standard).

It is thought to be easy to enforce as you only have to look at the certification on/of the machine.

Goes into effect on April 20, 2021.
