West University Citizens PUSH BACK on Radical Public Buildings Redesign

West University Citizens PUSH BACK on Radical Public Buildings Redesign. A large contingent of West University citizens voiced their disagreement with the City’s plans to relocate the fire station and truncate Milton street. Because of the number of people that commented, the City made the wise choice to redesign the fire station in its current location.

But there is still the very serious issue of the City continuing to prioritize the NEEDLESS rebuilding and movement of the senior center and library to Milton Street over the rebuilding of the end-of-life wastewater treatment plant. The wastewater treatment plant is a VITAL city service that has many age related problems.

Please voice your opinion on this needless and costly construction at the next council meeting as well as send an email to the mayor and council – ssample@westutx.gov cbrett@westutx.gov scarroll@westutx.gov mhart@westutx.gov jmontgomery@westutx.gov.
