West Loop Galleria standoff yesterday?

Huge backup on the loop yesterday at Galleria about 7:00 PM, thought it was just the everyday traffic jam but when I got to the stoppage I saw a shirtless guy standing on the northbound edge of 610 with cops and firemen closing in around him. Anybody see/know what happened?
