Wells Fargo to raise its minimum wage. Here’s what it means for Houston workers

Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC) will raise its minimum wage for hourly workers to a range of $15 to $20 per hour, depending on where the job is based, the financial giant said March 4.

Employees in high-cost markets such as San Francisco and New York will earn $20. Workers in lower-cost markets, such as Charlotte, North Carolina, and Des Moines, Iowa, will earn $16. Houston’s minimum wage also will be $16 per hour, a spokesperson confirmed.
