Wellness Check

Hi everyone. My father (who lives alone) has dropped out of contact for over a week now and no one can get in touch with him. This is extraordinarily unlike him and his friends and family think something might be wrong. Unfortunately, none of us live in the Houston area. Is there a non-emergency number I can call to have the police or EMS do a wellness check on him? Any help would be appreciated.
