Weights and Measures Danish Replacement

Weights and Measures had the best bakery danishes in town, particularly the cherry. Suggestions for any worthy replacements you’ve found? I feel that the bread is what set them apart – the few alternatives I’ve tried, the filling is good but the bread leaves a lot to be desired or is straight up stale. I welcome suggestions ideally in the loop or at least inside the beltway, but willing to note down other suggestions for future reference.
