Weed and Law Enforcement in Harris County in 2024

I wanted to ask you guys to get a good gauge. Long story short I’ve been living out of state in a decriminalized city where cops don’t care at all. Before I moved it was “decriminalized” in Houston (Harris County). Most of my friends operate as if it’s legal. I’m seeing the alt product dispensaries pop up as well.

So what’s the truth? Can you posses and not worry these days or is HPD, sheriffs, constable still locking people up?

I was a habitual offender over 10 years ago for minor possession that was dismissed thankfully.

I just want to see where Houston city limits stands in regards to marijuana possession.
