Weatherford International names new general counsel and chief compliance officer

After many leadership changes and resignations, Houston-based Weatherford International PLC (OTC Pink: WFTLF) announced a new appointment in one of its C-suite positions.

Scott C. Weatherholt has been named executive vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer. Weatherholt brings more than 16 years of experience as a corporate attorney handling complex legal matters affecting public and private exploration and production companies, according to a press release.
