Weak peppers lately

Has anyone else noticed this, or am I going to the wrong places?

Seems the past few weeks, the peppers at the stores have been total duds. The jalapeños at HEB, Walmart, La Michoacana.

Serranos have been the same. I don't do Instacart or anything like that because I like being the asshole that picks through all the peppers to find the freshest ones. I put 10 serranos in my pico today and it's not even hot like that.

Habaneros are the usual, but I don't use them too often in my cooking.

Anybody know where them fresh peppers are at? 🌶 🔥
