We should try the Trea Turner thing with Jose Abreu

Last year when Trea Turner was struggling badly, Philly fans decided to stop booing him and instead shower him in cheers every time he stepped in the box.

This did wonders for his confidence and he even spoke about how much it helped him mentally. He subsequently went on to have an amazing rest of the season.

I’m not sure how we would spread the word to the entire fanbase but I really think it would help Jose a lot. He really does care.
