Watt’s public persona

In JJ once again making national news by showing he's a good person, I was reminded that there is a significant portion of NFL fans (at least ones active on social media) that think he isn't a genuine person and his personality is fake.

While the dude is admittedly corny and bro-ey, I have never once thought that it was a "calculated" persona. We are talking about a meat-and-potatoes kid from Wisconsin who delivered pizzas and walked on at Wisconsin.

I know I look at him through Battle-Red-colored glasses, but the guy has never come off as phony to me and he has constantly proved to be a true son of Houston and a genuinely good person.
