Water from tap smells like sulfur

Does anyone experience their water smelling like sulfur? Mine smells if it's on hot or cold. I know from experience that this is fairly normal in Houston but it's been especially bad this summer.

Had a plumber come out to look at my water heater and he said it's the city water that's causing the smell.

Wanted to see what other people's experiences are.
