Water Bill – $600 – $1500?!?

Our house is empty. We won’t be moving in until a few months. The first water bill while the home was empty was around $1500. So was the second. The pool guy said the fountain was leaking so he fixed it.

We decided to turn off the water but the bill is still $600.

This is the first time we ever had a pool. Could the high water bill be because of the pool? I know the pool guy said he has to fill up the pool sometimes.
