Was my husband recruited into a cult??????

My husband went to Costco in river oaks a few months ago and while looking in the freezer section for the chicken melts (highly recommend those by the way) a man approached him and asked him about his tshirt. He then proceeded to talk to my husband about his business / club where men work with each other to gain financial freedom. He preached that if you join it you can establish a worry-free life style that you create for your family. After my husband tried to leave the conversation a few times, the guy said “would you like to join?”. My husband told him that he wasn’t interested in joining and left.

We just went to the same Costco and while waiting for the pizza samples WE SAW HIM AGAIN!!!! And sure enough he was trying to start conversation with those around him. We waited for about 10 mins for the pizza so we observed him during that time. He looked as if he was a businessman trying to pick out his next victim. We watched him do this 3-4 times with different people. The crazy thing…. We don’t think he even had a shopping cart.

I’m curious what you guys think. Should I be concerned about our community?!?!
