Was anyone at the Metallica show at the Summit, @ 1988?

When Metallica took the stage, the crowd immediately started throwing things… bottles, shoes, chairs, on/at the stage. They had to stop the show, and come back and lecture the crowd about their behavior.

The Cult opened, and said “hellloooooo Austin” and got booed.

I think I lost a lot of hearing at this show and gained a lot of tinnitus…. Was wondering if anyone out there was there and had any thoughts or memories of this show.
