Wanted to Praise Public Transit in Houston!

Hey everyone, just wanted to say thank you to METRO (public transit authority) for doing a good job. I know a lot of people s**t on Houston for being too car-dependent but after using buses/LRT for some time, I found out that it's not THAT bad.

Yes, the frequency and coverage are horrendous but if you live close to a bus stop/train stop, it's not that bad. Takes me around 40 min to get from the burbs to Downtown on a park and ride bus, which is good taking into account Houston size.

Hopefully, one day we'll see truly walkable and transit-oriented Houston! Really waiting for a subway system haha. Have a good day everyone
