Want to join or start an organization that educates the community about sexual abuse.

Hey ya'll, I am a sexual abuse survivor. My abuser was a teacher from high school. I have started to become comfortable to share my story. It is heartbreaking to know that sexual abuse is still so prevalent and there are still people out there that shame the victims. I want to use my story for good and educate others, but I'm not sure where to start. If anyone knows of a Houston organization that not only helps survivors but also goes out and actively talks to the community about this issue, then please share in the comments or PM me. Thank you 🙂
