Walmart, autonomous delivery co. launch Houston partnership
Nuro, a California-based autonomous vehicle company that first made its Houston splash when it partnered with Kroger earlier this year, is now bringing its driverless delivery to Walmart Inc. (NYSE: WMT)
The newest partnership with Walmart is exclusive to Houston and will roll out in the 77096, 77035 and 77401 ZIP codes in the coming months, a spokesperson said. The service initially will be available only to a closed group of customers, with a greater rollout to take place in 2020.Â
