Walked into a Covid Den this Morning
Felt like an early lunch today so I hopped on over to the Denny's off I10 near Memorial City. I sit down at the table. Next table, a guy coughs….no big deal, people cough.
I make my order….shortly thereafter, the table behind me starts coughing. Ok, not great, but maybe it's just a cold or allergies.
Waiting for my order, I noticed that a waitress is now coughing her lungs out. I ask to get my meal to go and the check. While I'm waiting, another waitress starts coughing strongly. I get up to pay the bill – forget about getting this to go. As I'm going to the register, I hear a table in the back just coughing a storm. I get the heck out of there and leave the change.
Man, I'm not the most easily scared person when it comes to covid, but this was something else. Haven't witnessed a scene like that during the whole pandemic. Stay safe out there and if you're that sick, please stay home for the rest of us.
