Walkable inner loop neighborhoods

Starting a new job in the fall. Looking to rent, not buy, in a walkable neighborhood within the loop. Absolute highest end of budget would be $3k/month but I’d like to rent well below that if I can help it at all. Any neighborhoods that fit that description?
