Waiting 5 weeks for a trashcan

We moved into a new townhouse in the Heights and have been waiting five weeks without trash service. I have an infant and a two year-old.

Anyone have any advice on my options?

Yes, we’ve called 311 multiple times and they say your case has been escalated but nobody can offer a solution other than wait. I’ve driven loads to the neighborhood trash centers but depending on the day, they won’t let you drop trash/plastics/cardboard. Also, you can’t go pickup a trash can anywhere.

This city feels like a developing country without any charm or cheap housing.

Any advice you have is welcome. 🙏🏻
