VTR-68-A vehicle inspection question

Hi all,

I am trying to help my relative with their Canadian vehicle that needs a VTR-68-A or V-68-A vehicle inspection as the last part of their importing process (all other paper work has been submitted and car has been approved for US transfer).

Their car is in Houston parked at a friend's house until this is resolved, however my relative is physically living in Austin.

I tried calling a few places in Houston as per the website but I do not have a clear answer on if our friend in Houston can take my relative's car to get the V-68-A inspection done for us?

Also if there is anyone who can help in anyway with getting it done this week my relative is willing to pay a small helpers fee!

The car is a simple Buick with no issues and we know it will pass with flying colors, its just that they need to get this done ASAP.
