Visiting with a bachelor party. Just want some advice!

Hey everyone. A group of us are coming down from Canada to celebrate a friend getting hitched. I’ve gathered some ideas of what to do but I wanted to get a bit more info straight from the locals if possible.

A few google searches led me to Clé nightclub/pool party as well as the House of Blues Foundation Room. I was just wondering if there’s another nice nightlife spot that you guys could recommend, and if these two options are decent for a group of 10-15 (they seem to be okay).

We are planning on attending the Astros games that weekend in May as a group but other than that our weekend is mostly free. Is there any eatery or hole in the wall diner anyone could recommend? Are there any place to avoid?
