Visiting Houston (Pearland) for the week. Need recommendations

Hello everyone. I am in Pearland for the week with my family. We are heading to the rodeo/fair on Tuesday. Any other recommendations? I saw the even thread which is nice.

Looking for stuff to do with kids, parks, outdoor stuff.

Into craft beer, spicy food/salsa, cool local restaurants. I would like to support local restaurants etc over chains.
