Visiting Houston for the first time for an Astros game. Need some specific recommendations!

My wife and I are bucket listing our way through all the baseball stadiums, and Houston is coming up in late July!

We're only there for 3 quick days – 27th – 29th. We're catching the game on the 28th.

We're not looking for the whole Houston experience bonanza. Our ideal situation would be to stay as close to Minute Maid as possible. Since we arrive on the 27th, we'd love an awesome dinner and night out for drinks that evening. We're in our early 30s if that helps. Love meeting new people, love a good burger and steak and love divey chill bars.

We definitely want to keep everything around or as close to the park as possible since Uber/Lyft is so fucking expensive lately.

Essentially we just need recommendations for an awesome hotel, dinner, breakfast, and bar close to Minute Maid. It's such a quick trip that we won't have time to explore unfortunately, but any tips on the best places to hit during our short stay would be awesome!
