Visiting Houston…

I’ll be in Houston for a few days next month visiting family and have a day open to explore. What are some suggestions for a mid 30s female to explore solo? I have a car so transportation is not a problem unless parking is.

Also how is the Galleria? I’d like to go and shop but I was wondering if it is safe to shop there alone? I have read different things. Safety is high priority for me and something I need to consider traveling alone in a city I don’t know very well.

I’ve already been to the Space museum and Kemah Boardwalk so no need for me to see those.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!
