Visiting from Chicago and looking for restaurant recommendations

My girlfriend's birthday is in a few days and I'd like to take her out to eat somewhere nice, but I don't know many restaurants in Houston. Anybody have recommendations for somewhere fairly classy we could eat for around $100-$120? Possibly an Italian place, but open to anything.
