Video shows employee shooting unarmed man in the back while running out of store

Surveillance video released Monday contradicts police and employee reports from 2022 Carter's Country gun store shooting, that the victim had a sharp object and that employees feared for their lives. The alleged shoplifting suspect/victim was only holding a Styrofoam cup and was running out of store while an employee discharged their firearm into their back while chasing after them. Not a single employee called the police at the time of the shooting.
