Victim Advocacy

Good Morning! Question- I have a friend who was in a near-fatal accident getting hit by a drunk driver. The driver is going to see his day in court- but there is some shadiness going on in the court system. We have toyed with the idea of contacting some victim advocates on her behalf that could help. Does anyone have any insight on this? Please and thank you.
