Veteran trying to contact Texas congressman

I am a veteran and I have been stuck in my compensation claim process for over 10 months. I have been instructed to reach out to my congressman for support. I am not from Texas (Houston) and I am not sure where to begin. Any advice from a savvy government/political/Vet supporter would be much appreciated!
