Vet recommendations NW area

Hello everyone.

I have a cat that has not gone to the vet in a bit but want to take her in to get a general check up done. She is not sick and there is nothing I am worried about, just want to update any vax and have an expert look for any common abnormalities that I can’t see.

I am willing to travel for a deal, so in the past I have gone to the humane society and have had a great experience! But, I am not sure they offer the service we are looking for.

*What are you recommendations for a trusted Vet (preferably in the NW area)that is not interested in up charging or selling some sort of insurance/ pet care package or anything silly that is a waste of money. Thanks Houstonians! *

( Before any possible hate, I love vets and know that 99%+ are great and genuinely care about pets, I just get anxious and uncomfortable in situations where the vet/tech may put me in a tough spot and make me feel like a bad owner for not doing a particular test or buying some package. I would rather save my money and save it for a future pet expense)
