Vet recommendations for cat with urinary issues?

Hi guys, I know this question has been asked several times and I’ve taken note of some highly recommended vets in the area. I’m wondering if anyone has a vet they’d recommend / trust who has experience with a cat who struggles with crystals and needs further blood work/ urinalysis?

My cat was straining to urinate and had some white discharge coming out instead of pee. I rushed him to an ER vet who said that he had 6-20/HPF struvite crystals and “suspected” bacteria in the urine. His creatinine was also slightly elevated and his urine PH was 8. He wasn’t blocked but was definitely inflamed – diagnosed with Idiopathic cystitis. He’s been on a strictly wet diet since then; he hated the prescription food so he’s on Weruva canned.

He’s pretty much himself, playing/eating/pooping/cuddling. He’s finally peeing medium sized puddles so I know he’s not blocked, but he still seems to take longer to pee and sometimes visits frequently. He also has been having on/off diarrhea after I gave him gabapentin to help with potential pain.

I wanted to follow up with a regular vet to make sure his lab values go back to normal ranges and to ensure he’s headed in the right direction and not dehydrated.

Thanks in advance guys.
