Veranda Richmond TX

Does anyone live or have any personal experience with the Veranda neighborhood in Richmond TX?

We are looking at few houses coming from the heights but have noticed some of the larger homes priced higher than an expected and not selling as fast.

We are wondering if it’s a pricing issue or issues with the neighborhood. Other than the commute ( which is expected) are there concerns with the area? Also see it’s zoned to Lamar HS and not be new HSs that are being built. Any experiences would be appreciated!
