venue rentals recommendations please!

hey there! i'm planning a 30th birthday party for my parter this year. i would ideally enjoy a bar of some sort, that way guest can buy their own drinks on site. but a space that can be decorated and sort of away from the public part of the bar – if that makes sense. if you know of anything that sounds like this, let me know please! thank you!!
