Van life parked for a night

Hello Huston! Love this town. First time I’m here with my van. Does the arts district in general tolerate an occasional van parked on the street? It may be pretty clear I’m sleeping in it later… it’s technically legal to sleep in your car but I’m wondering as a city culture is it frowned upon?
