Valero, Darling Ingredients could spend $2B on proposed Diamond Green diesel plant in Port Arthur

Information submitted in conjunction with requesting tax breaks provide new details regarding Valero Energy Corp.’s $2 billion proposal for a biodiesel plant in Southeast Texas.

San Antonio-based Valero (NYSE: VLO) has publicly discussed the possibility of building a renewable diesel plant near its Port Arthur refinery as early as September 2019.
