Urgent request to retrieve stolen item

Hey guys, posting on behalf of my dad. His macbook got stolen while he was traveling through Houston and I guess the thief left it beside a road somewhere because it's been there ever since. I can still get a signal of it on Find my Iphone so it's still functional(I hope)

Anybody willing to go check the area real quick? It's on SW freeway frontage road and near Romana Hotel.
